The JSP Powercap® Active™ 8hr – Black is a high-performance, lightweight positive pressure respirator engineered for reliable dust and particulate protection across light industrial, agricultural, landscaping, and food processing environments. Designed to comply with EN 12941:1988 TH1P and EN 812, it offers the comfort of powered air filtration with no face fit test required—making it a safer, more efficient alternative to disposable masks.

Delivering a consistent airflow of 160 litres per minute, this respirator eliminates breathing resistance and prevents visor misting, keeping the wearer cool and comfortable during extended use. The unit includes a PowerBox™1 battery pack with an 8-hour runtime, easy micro USB charging, and an integrated battery level indicator for added convenience.

The built-in JSP Hardcap A1+™ bump cap surpasses EN 812 A1 standards, offering dependable head protection and effortless hygiene thanks to its machine-washable design. A polycarbonate visor is secured with a hook-and-loop system for quick replacement and maintenance, though it does not provide impact resistance (see Powercap® Active™ IP for impact-rated protection).

For best performance and prolonged service life, regular cleaning and filter replacement are essential. Compatible accessories such as Powercap® Pre-Filter Pads and Peel-Off Visor Covers are recommended to extend operational life and reduce wear.
